Janet asked me what I had been shouting about. I hadn't realised I was shouting.
I had been wondering why my doctor had been cowering against the far wall when I was making what I considered a reasonable request,
Anyway the doctor rang me today to say that Gilbert Bain Hospital (you remember Grevious Bodily Harm) were getting blood in and would arrange for a transplant - hopefully this week.
It made me wonder whether a group of vampires is called a battery.
If my circulation is still going round next week we should nave fun.
They had sheep dog trials today; no winner yet as they continue 'til all the fish and chips have been sold. No mushy peas but a reasonable curry sauce.
Peter,
ReplyDeleteJeffrey and I had a great time staying with you and Janet over the weekend. It was good to go over the old times when we strode, limped and stumbled along the South West Coastal Path. It's amazing how time and red wine make things rosy.
I didn't expect to end up cleaning the little church literally at the bottom of your garden but happy to help. A pity Janet couldn't find an apron for Jeffrey but he is a dab hand with the hoover!
Thanks for making the effort and taking us around Fetlar on Saturday afternoon. It's lovely when the sun shines and the gannets are diving.

Graham, I haven't been out since but am feeling better. I have a parcel to unwrap and will let you know what it contains when I have wrestled it open. At least it is metallic. The postman slipped it in the other morning and drove off so it has not been signed for.
DeleteI played a game of Scrabble today and may try another tomorrow. The excitement!
Take care
Peter
